I see your snow London and I raise you minus 13

It’s freezing here. I mean bone-shudderingly cold. So cold that I’ve considered, seriously, spending $500 on a Woolrich jacket that is like my cheap Zara down coat but 5 times as thick and 7 times more expensive.

To heap icicles on my frostbite, my cashmere hat went walkabout on a night out at Tao and my cashmere gloves have started to hole. (I know, I know, poor me). But for now I’m riding it out. It’s bound to get warmer, no? It’s minus 6 today and minus 11 tonight. I might die of exposure before I find out.

  1. I lost a glove this weekend!! Stay warm. It’s (finally) starting to melt here and I can (hopefully) resume wearing heels ASAP. 🙂

  2. PS. I think it’s funny that you’ve left your 24hr clock on. I can’t convert it. I’m a numbers-idiot. I’m actually grateful for the 12-hr digital one on your desk. 🙂

  3. It hasn’t been cold like this for two years…lucky you. It will get better or you will get used to it. We all are shocked by it 🙂

  4. Here I am! I’ve sent Ellie a photo of our log fire at home, so I’m doing my bit! Get Ruthie’s suggestion – a Northface jacket! xx

Whaddaya think?
